Shared Responsibilities, Mutual Consideration

A safe, disciplined and respectful school environment depends on cooperation between parents, students and the school. Tap on a category below to view the guidelines.

Devices and Media

4 Points
Please do not give mobile phones to your child. Disciplinary action will be taken against any child carrying a mobile phone.
Please ensure that no net-surfing by your ward is done at home without your supervision and close monitoring.
Children tend to pick up abusive language or foul words from the media and other sources without understanding their meaning. We take requisite measures to counsel and check them at school and request you to take corrective action at home too.
No books (other than textbooks or library books), magazines, papers, VCDs, DVDs, USBs, mobile phones or cameras should be brought to school.

Belongings and Property

5 Points
Kindly label all belongings and uniforms of your children neatly with the name, class, section and roll number of your child.
Care must be taken of all school property. No student should damage any school furniture, or write or draw anything on the walls. Damage should be reported at once to the class teacher, and penal action will follow.
Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is strictly prohibited.
The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles (such as expensive watches, fountain pens or jewellery) to school.
Students are not allowed to bring motorcycles, scooters or any kind of motorised vehicle to school. The school is not responsible for bicycles parked on the premises.

Conduct and Discipline

5 Points
Criticism of a teacher or the school in the presence of the child causes them to lose respect for the same and will hinder their progress.
The school reserves the right to suspend students whose progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
A student who uses unfair means during tests will be given no marks in the subject and a warning letter will be issued. Repetition will result in suspension or expulsion.
The school insists on strict discipline. Any student who violates the set rules will not be allowed to attend school, and the Principal reserves the right to dismiss any student without assigning a reason.
Special badges given by the school must be worn daily.

Safety and Emergency

5 Points
Students who come to school with an escort should never leave before the escort arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office.
A sick child should not be sent to school. In an emergency, the person collecting the child must carry a letter from the parent.
Students are not allowed to go to a relative's or friend's house directly from school.
Parents are requested to keep a strict watch over their child to see if he or she ever brings home stolen property, and to provide sufficient means so the child does not resort to stealing.
The name and class of the pupil should be marked prominently on all of the student's articles.

Celebrations and Gifts

2 Points
Students are allowed to distribute only two toffees or sweets of well-known brands to classmates on their birthday. No other celebration is permitted.
Giving gifts to staff is strictly prohibited. Such action will be seriously dealt with.

Parent Communication and School Visits

5 Points
Parents and guardians of all students should contact the teachers on PTM days to review their ward's progress, and must attend Parent-Teacher Meetings regularly.
Parents and guardians are not allowed to meet their wards or teachers in classrooms. If a parent needs to meet a ward during school hours for any reason, they should contact the reception.
Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to check the notebooks and handbooks of students regularly and help the school maintain a high standard.
Parents are requested to send the lunch box, art or craft material, or any other required material along with the student. Packets sent to school later will not be accepted, for security reasons.
Parents are requested not to interfere in school administration. Written suggestions are always welcome.
